VU COVID-19 International Scholarship Up to ,000 for the first two study periods International students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) course with VU Melbourne in Semester 2, 2020 or Trimester 3, 2020 This includes international students already in Australia, international students currently in other countries, international students at VU-partnered universities and students on a pathway from one VU course to another VU course. Higher education diploma or VET students are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Students must pay the 50% deposit to accept their offer. The VU COVID-19 International Scholarship will be applied to the tuition fee balance, which is due by the course census date.
  • Undergraduate students must enrol in 48 credit points each semester unless unit availability does not allow them to do so.
  • Postgraduate (coursework) students enrolling in a reduced study load will be eligible to receive a reduced amount, based on the number of units taken (pro-rata).
  • Undergraduate students choosing to reduce their study load are not eligible.
  • The VU COVID-19 International Scholarship is not refundable, convertible to cash, or transferable to another individual, commencing study period, or course.
  • Students who have received a scholarship or sponsorship from another organisation are not eligible for this scholarship.
George Swinburne STEM Achievement Postgraduate Scholarship 30% of the total tuition fees International student who is eligible for an offer for one of the selected 2-year master by coursework programs. Scholarship amount will be distributed throughout the duration of your studies
2 Year Master Program Scholarship 25% of the total tuition fees International student who is eligible for an offer for one of the selected 2-year master by coursework programs. Scholarship amount will be distributed throughout the duration of your studies and will vary depending on your previous academic results.

Deakin International Scholarship 25% of your student contributions (tuition fees) Applicants must:
  • be a prospective international student
  • be eligible to study in Australia with a student visa
  • not have accepted any other Deakin scholarship or bursary
  • have achieved a 65% average (or equivalent) in previous studies.
All criteria must be met.
Selection of successful applicants for the fixed number of scholarships will be competitive, and may require scores above the stated minimum requirements.
Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship All of your student contributions (tuition fees) or 50% of your student contributions (tuition fees) Applicants must:
  • be a prospective international student
  • be eligible to study in Australia with a student visa
  • not have accepted any other Deakin scholarship or bursary
  • have achieved a 85% average (or equivalent) in previous studies.
All criteria must be met.
Selection of successful applicants for the fixed number of scholarships will be competitive, and may require scores above the stated minimum requirements.
Alumni & Family Scholarship 25% of first year tuition fee, up to a maximum of AUD,000
  • International, full fee-paying, non-sponsored students of any nationality except Australian
  • Students commencing studies at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses in 2017
  • Students commencing a full Curtin undergraduate or master by coursework program
  • Must remain enrolled in initial course and major of study unless approved by Curtin International
  • Must maintain a full time enrolment of 100 credit points each semester or study period
  • Cannot breach the scholarship conditions outlined in their scholarship offer document
  • Cannot take a leave of absence or withdraw from their units or course of study
  • Cannot be terminated from studies
Academic Excellence Scholarship for Onshore The total value of the scholarship is AU$5,000, one-off payment to be paid after the first census date
  • Be an international student applying from Australia
  • Not be a current RMIT student
  • Enrol for Semester 1 2022 in any Vocational Education, Bachelor, Graduate Diploma or Master by Coursework programs
  • Achieve an overall 70% average or equivalent in your last completed qualification
  • Provide either a personal statement (approx. 200 words) or a 60-90 seconds video. Please introduce yourself, explain why you think you deserve the scholarship and tell us why you would be the perfect RMIT Ambassador
  • Applicants with a conditional offer will need to meet the conditions of their offer before they can be awarded the scholarship
  • Applicants with ELICOS packaged offer are eligible however they must commence their Vocational Education, Bachelor, Graduate Diploma or Master by Coursework program in Semester 1 2022.
  • Applicants must submit an application for this scholarship
  • Applicants must be an international student applying from Australia
  • This scholarships is not available to current RMIT students.
  • Applicants with a conditional offer will need to meet the conditions of their offer before they can be awarded the scholarship.
  • Applicants with ELICOS packaged offer are eligible however they must commence their eligible program in Semester 1 2022.

    RMIT International School Leaver Scholarship The value of the scholarship is AUD $5000 one-off payment to be paid after the first census date

    In order to qualify for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an international student applying from Australia,
  • Be onshore and completing your high school in Australia,
  • submit your application via VTAC and receive an offer from RMIT for an Associate degree or Undergraduate program
  • The applicant must be onshore.
  • The value of your scholarship is based on full-time 48 credit points enrolment load in your first semester, which will be adjusted accordingly if your enrolment load is reduced.

    STEM Merit Scholarship for Onshore The total value of the scholarship is AU$10,000, one-off payment to be paid after the first census date

    In order to qualify for this scholarship you must:

  • not be a current RMIT student,
  • achieve an overall 70% average or equivalent in your last completed qualification,
  • enrol in Semester 1 2022 for any Vocational Education, Bachelor, Graduate Diploma or Master by coursework programs^ offered by one of RMIT Schools below: Engineering, Health and Biomedical Sciences, Sciences, Computing Technologies
  • applicants with a conditional offer need to meet the conditions of their offer
  • applicants with ELICOS packaged offer are eligible however they must commence their Vocational Education, Bachelor, Graduate Diploma or Master by coursework program in Semester 1 2022
  • applicants must submit an application for this scholarship,

    Transition to Melbourne Bursary The value of the scholarship is AU$5,000 as a one-off payment transferred into student’s bank account after census date

    In order to qualify for this scholarship you must:

  • be an international student* currently living and studying in an institution interstate (within Australia) or in regional Victoria,
  • not be a current RMIT University student,
  • be applying onshore (in Australia),
  • commence in Semester 1 2022,
  • enrol in one of the following: Associate degree, Bachelor degree, Masters by coursework, Graduate certificate, Graduate diploma.
  • Applicants must be an international student applying from Australia
  • This scholarships is not available to current RMIT students.
  • Applicants with a conditional offer will need to meet the conditions of their offer before they can be awarded the scholarship.
  • Applicants with ELICOS packaged offer are eligible however they must commence their eligible program in Semester 1 2022.

    What is PY?

    Professional Year Program gives international ICT graduates from Australian teritary providers the practical job skills and training needed to enhance their career prospects. A practical pathway from university to employment, Professional Year ensures that graduates are job-ready.

    Completion of this, may provide the Professional Year graduate with five (5) points under an eligible skilled occupation, as specified by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA).
